Tom PriceEnergy Analyst
Tom Price joined Luthin Associates in the summer of 2009 directly out of the academic environs. As a recent graduate from Marist College with a BA in Economics, Mr Price has been a vital support to Catherine Luthin in her efforts with Consumer Power Advocates as a regulatory advisor. Tom works with our advocacy group by researching important issues related to rate cases and economic development legislation. This research includes economic analysis of various market segments and how they contribute to the local economy. Mr. Price also works with staff to develop testimony for rate cases and legislative hearings. Tom stays on top of current affairs, regulator changes, tariff changes, tax law and other occurrences which impact the cost of energy. He analyzes and condenses the information to make it available to our clients. Tom has also taken on responsibilities with client utility reporting and the submission of Gross Receipts Tax refunds to Con Ed and the various ESCO's. We welcome his enthusiasm and intuitive thought processes to our team.
